For the finished product of my installation I wanted to convey the idea that home is what many believe to be the light at the end of the tunnel whilst at war as it is what motivates them day to day. I also wanted to convey this idea in the video shown through the AI coming into contact with the expanding entity triggering another flow graph that changed the time of day whilst inside the structure representing a sanctuary of the mind taking it away from the rain and cold outside. Apart from the initial link, the other link I wanted to make with my Pachube choice is the use of electricity by the home (when it is lit up) when it is needed most, this link shows that in this circumstance the person is using the electricity the find a place away from where he is.

Currently I am working on ideas for my mod that relate to my Pachube link. The link which I chose follows that of a home which information linking to that, through this idea of home, a key link between war and home in my mind is the idea that home is what keeps many soldiers sane and motivated throughout hard times as it is what many think about in bad times. Through this idea I am exploring ways of representing this intrinsic link including possibly creating an illusion of a home that my player may be able to see or the idea that the home is the light at the end of the tunnel. As my ideas continue to develop this connection between the soldiers mind and home will be my key theme for my machinima documentary.

My model is representative of the complex and continuous nature of  'Pure War'  evident in its form. Pure War exists through a continous preparation and anticipation of actual warfare, this idea is complex and continuous which is represented in my model through its confusing mutated nature and continuous forms as the object has a continuous but mutated path throughout its structure.

The Pachube feed which I have chosen to use is the Williams Home Info. The reason for choosing this feed is due to my interest in comparing this location to that of my own and see how the documented home information can be converted into Paul Virilo's notion of Pure War.
